On this Fourth Sunday of Easter, the Church celebrates Good Shepherd Sunday, a beautiful reminder of who Christ is for us. In the Gospel, Jesus reveals Himself as the Good Shepherd: the one who knows His sheep, calls them by name, and lays down His life for them. This image is not distant or symbolic, it is deeply personal. It reminds us that we are known, loved, and guided by the Lord in every moment of our lives. Good Shepherd Sunday also invites us to reflect on how we listen for His voice. In the midst of our busy lives, many voices compete for our attention, but Christ gently calls us to trust Him, to follow where He leads, and to remain close to Him. As a parish community, we are also called to reflect His shepherding love by caring for one another with compassion, patience, and faith. This day is especially significant as the Church also observes the World Day of Prayer for Vocations. It is a time to pray that more men and women will have the courage to respond to God’s call, whether to the priesthood, religious life, or dedicated service in the Church. Vocations begin with listening, and they grow through prayer, encouragement, and witness. Today, we extend our heartfelt thanks to the clergy of our parish. We are grateful for your generous “yes” to God’s call and your faithful service to our community. Please join us in continuing to pray for our priests and for all those discerning their vocation. May we continue to walk together as one flock, guided by the voice of Christ, our Good Shepherd. (From the left to right: Rev. Mr. Andre Alexandre, Deacon, Fr. Cyprien Emile, Parochial Vicar and Fr.
