We are excited to invite young men of our parish to take part in the Melchizedek Project, a six-week discernment program created especially for those who are seeking to grow deeper in faith and openness to God’s call.
The Melchizedek Project is a nationally recognized program designed for young men, ages 18–35, to prayerfully consider their vocation and learn more about the priesthood. Through guided readings, reflection, discussion, and fraternity, participants will walk together in faith as they discover how God may be calling them to serve.
Start Date: Wednesday, October 9, 2025
Time: 6:00 PM
Location: The Rectory, Holy Name of Jesus – St. Gregory the Great Parish
207 West 96th Street, New York, NY 10025
Leader: Rev. Carlos Limongi, Parochial Vicar
The group will meet weekly and conclude on Thursday, November 13, 2025.
Each session includes:
Prayer before the Blessed Sacrament
Reading and discussion from the Melchizedek Project materials
Guidance and mentorship from Fr. Carlos
Brotherhood and support from fellow participants
This small group is open to men between 18 and 35 years old who desire to grow in holiness, deepen their prayer life, and reflect on whether God may be calling them to the priesthood. You do not need to be certain about a vocation to participate—this is an opportunity to explore, learn, and pray together.
If you are interested in joining, please contact the Parish Office at 212-749-0276 or email us [email protected]. Spots are limited, so we encourage you to sign up soon!
