Fr. Carlos Limongi was ordained a priest on May 26th, 2018. He is the youngest of 6 children to Barney and Jannette Limongi. He was born in Ecuador and moved to the US with his family in 2003 when he was 19. After high school, he briefly studied graphic design, then switching his major to architecture. Fr. Carlos worked in an architectural firm for 5 years before receiving the call to the priesthood. He then applied to seminary for the archdiocese of New York, and began his formation in January of 2013. After being ordained a priest, he was assigned as parochial vicar of the parish of the Assumption in Peekskill, in Westchester County. After a three-year term, he was reassigned in 2021 as the administrator of the parish of St. Joseph & St. Mary Immaculate on Staten Island. He was made a pastor there after two years, and after exercising his pastoral ministry there for two more years, he was named the pastor of the parish of Holy Name of Jesus-St. Gregory the Great starting July 1st, 2025.
